Good Content Does Land Organic Links
There’s a lot of naysayers out there when it comes to creating good content with the intention of getting links. Sure, it’s not easy and you need to know what you’re doing, but there’s no question, it definitely works!
We’ve been running a solid content calendar for one of our clients. We stepped up the game in the past year with more content monthly as well as more detailed informational topics that ensures we answer the questions searchers are asking. Taking it a step further, we don’t just want to answer the question. We want to make sure the searcher feels confident in the answer provided, and not only that, but let’s help them with the next step, if there is one.
This strategy has paid out in spades! We’ve seen more featured snippets, we’ve seen more top 5 rankings in Google for informational searches and we’ve driven more visits, links and ultimately lead inquiries. On top of that, this content is generating organic inbound links. You can’t ask for more than that!
